An ultra light-weight solo, the 10.5 elite is easy to maneuver on the water, and a pleasure to load and unload back on land. More than any other boat, this diminutive canoe can sneak into small spaces easily, like few other boats on the market.
The Compass is lighter in weight than its competitors, due to a state-of-the art lay up. Minimal use of gel coat eliminates several pounds of unnecessary weight, and vacuum-bagging with vinyl ester resin creates a tough, resilient construction.
Compass gunwales are beautiful to behold and will provide years of faithful use. Solid ash rails are installed with painstaking care, to accommodate lines of the Compass. They will bear the brunt of unloading and loading the boat, are stiff and light to provide just the perfect handle for your shoulder during a carry.
Featuring a unique First Class Seat design - the seat is built with a mesh fabric that allows excellent airflow to keep you cool, with multiple adjustments for the perfect fit. The fabric is also highly resistant to UV. The seat is is fully removeable and weighs only 6 lbs.
This kayak also features the Easy Foot System. This system provides excellent adjustability from your seated position, and employs footpads sized to reduce the back and leg effort required to maintain contact and control while you paddle.
