The Santee 116 Sport is ready to load and go. On the 116 Sport, the cockpit has been opened up for easier access and storage. You can put fly rod tubes, tripods, tackle boxes and other outdoor toys righ in the cockpit with you. There's even room for to bring along a four-legged companion. And with the same bottom design as the 116, you'll enjoy stability and high peformance paddling, whether you're a beginner or pro.
Hurricane kayaks are thermoformed using a material called Trylon. Some of the advantages of Trylon over conventional rotomolded materials include: Lightweight, Superior Rigidity, Enhanced Aesthetics, UV stability and Lower surface friction. Trylon also requires minimal maintenance to keep your kayak looking good.
