Alan Raby
-
Windsurfing, Kayaks, Standup Paddle
Boards, IT (Web
Marketing),
and Shipping
This passionate and gregarious young
fellow is always stoked about
helping people get on the water.
A native of the Texas Coast, Alan
was first introduced to windsurfing
through Mariner Sails over 10 years ago. He quickly devoured
everything related to the sport, and
shortly thereafter found himself
'hooked' in the wake of tropical
storms on the coast. When
given an opportunity to promote the
sport he goes from slightly stoic to
immediately animated; he leaves no
question of windsurfing's place as a
pure form of sailing and at the top-end
of all water sports. Alan
is also an experienced paddler, and
can sometimes be found paddling on Thursday nights at White
Rock Lake. To help promote windsurfing, Alan
brings a lot of web administration,
internet SEO, design, and IT skills to
the table, and has recently founded www.windsurfquest.net.
