What 'SUP? Come check out what Stand Up Paddleboarding is all about on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 at Lake Grapevine! Alongside the 2013 Texas Ultimate SUP Classic, we are offering SUP and kayak demos to all who are interesting in learning about this growing sport.

Demos will be held from 9:00am-4:00pm on Saturday and 10:00am-3:00pm on Sunday. Please dress expecting to get wet and bring sunscreen and water.

With 2014 just on the horizon, we need to make room in our warehouse for all the new model kayaks and gear. What better way is there to jettison the previous year's inventory than to host a good, old-fashioned garage sale? Our two-day event will be held at Mariner Sails from 9:00am-5:00pm on

Friday and 10:00am-3:00pm on Saturday.

This a great opportunity to find tremendous deals on new, previous year model kayaks, SUP's, windsurf gear, and much, much more! Along with regularly sold items, we'll also have a bunch of odds and ends for sale. Everything offered in the Garage Sale will be generously priced, so if you are looking for some great deals on awesome gear for this summer, be sure to come check it out.

Marked down prices will be so low that they are for Cash, Check and Debit card purchases only! Credit card? No problem, we will just add 2% to the marked down price for credit card purchases.

Dallasites are extremely lucky to have White Rock Lake just in the city's "backyard." A perfect place, rich with Dallas history, to escape city life and enjoy the water, whether it be paddling, sailing or fishing. Nearly no public

lake comes without spoils, however, and White Rock Lake is no exception.

In come the good people at For the Love of the Lake, a local organization that works to preserve and enhance White Rock Lake as an urban oasis. For some time now, they've been hosting a Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce-Up as a way for volunteers to show their appreciation of the lake and help clear litter off the water and shoreline. As a sponsor, we invite YOU to join us in their efforts to maintain White Rock Lake's beauty and cleanliness.

The next Shoreline Spruce-Up will be Saturday, July 13th, and we will be bringing a trailer of kayaks to allow volunteers to collect litter from the water. It will last approximately two hours starting at 9:00am and we'll meet at the north end of the lake, toward the footbridge.
