This is a universal kit that can be used to replace rudder control lines on all models of
Hobie Mirage Kayaks. Due to the wide variety of systems installed over the years, not
all components to match each boat are included in this kit.

Directions for Installation
This is a universal kit that can be used to replace rudder control lines on all models of
Hobie Mirage Kayaks. Due to the wide variety of systems installed over the years, not
all components to match each boat are included in this kit.
Note: Remove only one control line at a time to help prevent attachment confusion.
1) Note the routing and attachment points of the existing control lines.
2) Remove one control line at a time. Cut the line inside the boat and pull the control line
and tube out the back of the boat.
3) Insert the new control line assembly.
4) Attach the external line to the rudder. Leave some additional line at this point for
possible needed adjustments.
5) Pull the internal control line forward inside the boat and attach to the correct control
arm. If additional line length is required, cut additional line from the spare line included
in the kit.
6) Repeat for each control line.
