DDRC Canoe/Kayak Camping Workshop

Dale Harris and Bryan Jackson are senior members of the DDRC and are teaming up offer this seminar on Camping out of your Canoe or Kayak. We will share camping advice and tips on river camping out of your canoe or kayak. We go beyond the basics and cover tents, sleeping bags, mattress pads, techniques, hammocks, etc. Included are a few tips on getting all your gear in your canoe or kayak.
The Dallas Downriver Club and Mariner Sails are co-hosting a workshop on camping out of your canoe or kayak. The location is at Mariner Sails located at 11110 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75229.
This event is really for those who want to go camping on the river or who want to have a great experience base camping. The Dallas Downriver Club typically goes on 12 to 14 camping trips a year with half of them being on the river the other half is camping near the river and making short river excursions. We have been doing this since 1976 and have a lot of experience to share. Listening to this seminar will help you select the best gear along with a few tips & tricks to improve your camping skills. We’ll also offer a few tips on the best canoes or kayaks and share and ever important supply checklist.
